Samantha Cunningham Register goes to Sundance!

UNC MBA Community March 2016 Newsletter

Samantha Cunningham Register (MBA '16) was selected to be the first student from UNC Kenan-Flagler to receive a scholarship to attend the annual Brigadoon gathering in Sundance, Utah.  Marc Ross (OneMBA ’08), Caracal Strategies co-founder and founder of Brigadoon, and Perry Smith, founder of the Avalon Institute, created the scholar program to invite promising graduate students who display exceptional leadership abilities to engage with seasoned entrepreneurs and industry experts from diverse fields such as military intelligence, new media, and professional sports.

According to Ross, “As a graduate of UNC Kenan-Flagler myself, I know first-hand the value of alumni providing opportunities for students to network and meet world-class leaders. I am thrilled to be able to provide this small window to encourage business students to see the larger world and engage with people who are working to solve challenges in medicine, diplomacy, management, and performance.”  Congratulations Samantha!
